Colleen O’Brien is one of the hosts for the 2018 Mardi Gras for a Cause Young Performers Open Mic. She is a dual enrolled senior at Warwick Valley High School and SUNY Orange. She will be studying Music Business at The Bandier Program at Syracuse University next year. Her dream and passion is to work with recording artists in the Music Industry. She is excited to help raise money for Back Pack Snack Attack Mardi Gras again this year. Colleen is currently working on producing a concert to unite student musicians from all over Orange County as part of her Senior Project at Warwick. Colleen hopes to continue producing, working and volunteering on musical projects and concerts. Other interests include coaching youth soccer and volunteering for the Ambulance Corps.

Gene is one of the hosts for the 2018 Mardi Gras for a Cause Young Performers Open Mic. He is a local acoustic performer who consistently delights audiences with his renditions of rock classics.

An acoustic duo, covering a collection of songs from the classics to the contemporary, Hidden Rivers consists of guitarist/vocalist Michael Hickey and vocalist Christy Hickey. The two met performing at various open mics, where they discovered their uncanny ability to harmonize with one another, mesmerizing audiences with their compelling sounds. They have been performing together ever since.
Jeremy Langdale has been playing throughout the Hudson Valley with a fine tuned, tried and true selection of classic blues, funk and R&B. Come on down and get a taste of his earth-quakin’, bootie shakin’, baby makin’ no prisoners taken kinda’ groove!

Jim is one of the hosts for the 2018 Mardi Gras for a Cause Young Performers Open Mic. He has been hosting the Caffe a la Mode Open Mic weekly for the past twelve years.

Keith Newman has been playing the Catskills rock circuit since his teenage years, as part of various bands and in collaboration with other local musicians. As a solo vocalist who accompanies himself on six and twelve string guitar and harmonica, he continues to play a wide variety of acoustic music. His repertoire includes covers by artists including the Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Simon & Garfunkel, Jackson Brown, Neil Young, Cat Stevens, Pink Floyd, Jim Croce and many more. Pat started playing drums when he was 9 years old and has been playing for 45 years. He played with several bands between 1972 and 1976, playing rock, country/southern rock, and jazz, with a preference for Zepplin, Hendrix and many others from the 60’s. After college, Pat played in a few country-based bands and then took 25 years off to focus on his family. Over the past six years, he created bands with people from his company to play at work gigs. Pat has been playing drums in local Warwick bands, Full Circle with Bobby Messano, The Steve DiVenuta Band, and now Some Guys and a Broad.
The Petty Young Dylan Band are a classic rock band, playing the best of 60’s and 70’s rock and roll. All of the musicians are from Warwick and enjoy bringing fun and music to our local area!!
